Tin foil boat challenge

today we got set a challenge to make a floating device out of tin foil. it had to float and be able to carry as many marbles as possible with out sinking the person with the boat that could hold he most marbles with out sinking would win my group had an idea to go with a sombrero shaped boat it would create an air pocket that would support buoyancy this is the results of our sombrero .

i think the major weakness of this degsign was the fact that the boat was very flimsy and i think we can improve this by folding the tin foil in half making it stronger.
